It is always a challenge to create unique portraits of musicians, especially with a flute which is not as glamorous as a guitar, Joanna is a good friend and an amazing musician, she recently relocated to the West coast. Before she moved she asked me to take a few portraits of her, I know Joanna from our day care and we squeezed in some time to do some family portraits and a few portraits of her before they left. It also gave me a chance to try a double exposure with the 5D mark3 symbolizing their journey .(last photo on the post).
