Family Road Trip in California

We love to travel, our dream is to visit all of the national parks in north America. We have been to the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Acadia and the Canadian Rockies. We did all of them alone or with friends. Now it was the first time to go together as a family with Noam who is only 5 month old. I wont lie we were a bit scared before, I mean flying with a baby for almost 7 hours doesn’t sound like fun. At the beginning of the flight we were looking at each other and thinking; “what have we done…let’s go home…” But Noam was amazing, she didnt cry at all and she was very interested with what is going on. On a side note, I will never fly United again their service is awful the flight attendant and crew weren’t  nice and they Don’t have a changing table in the restrooms….On the other hand on the way back we flew with Virgin America and they were awesome.

Our route was landing at SFO taking a car and driving to yosemite so after a 6.5 hours flight we had 4.5 hours drive and Noam like I said was AWESOME. We stayed there 3 days, As a photographer I was very excited because it is Ansel Adams country, a photographer that led the way for all of us.  I have to say that when you are traveling with a 5 month old baby the photography part is not the priority, I mean usually I wake up for Sunrise and stay in the park till sunset, This time at sunset it was bath time…. From Yosemite we drove to Napa Valley stayed there a few days and then to Mendocino and all the way back to San Francisco.

Next time Yellow stone….I cant wait…
